About Melag

Melag is a German manufacturer based in Berlin that specialises in instrument reprocessing for dental and medical practices — tabletop steam sterilisers plus related equipment such as washer-disinfectors, pouch sealers and water treatment. In Malaysia its autoclaves are most often seen in dental clinics.

Vacuklav

The name Melag uses for its vacuum tabletop autoclaves. Confirm the EN 13060 class on the declaration for the exact model and chamber size you are quoted.

Euroklav

Another Melag tabletop range. Do not assume the class from the family name — check whether the quoted model is Class B or Class S and which loads it covers.

Accessories

Trays, tray holders, printers or data logging and water treatment are often priced separately. List them before you compare quotes.

Checklist for a Melag quote

  • The exact model name and chamber size, not just the brand.
  • The EN 13060 class and the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity.
  • The MDA registration number for that model, checked on the MDA public register.
